APC Canada Manitoba Chapter Election

On Saturday July 17, 2010, voters gave a resounding thumbs-up to Peter Ansumana Koroma as chairman of the APC Canada Manitoba Chapter. The first election in the history of APC Canada Manitoba Chapter Inc was a great success.

The election, administered by Abu Bakarr Kamara (Ken-Abu) and Musu Mensh Mansaray, was held at The University of Winnipeg Duckworth Center. It was the first election in the history of APC Canada Manitoba Chapter Inc. There were 6 candidates for 3 executive positions (Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary General).

Voter turn-out was 100%, with all 23 registered members fully participating in the process.  

The following are the winners of the election:

1. Chairman: Peter Ansuman Koroma
2. Vice Chairman: Samuel James Decker
3. Seretary General: Mark Magay Turay

The remaining five positions are going to be filled by candidates who were unopposed in the election.
